Including the one nobody else puts on their site: why there isn't a quote button yet.
Can I insure a pet that's already sick?
You can enroll, but the existing condition won't be covered — that's what pre-existing means, and every carrier applies it. New, unrelated conditions would still be covered. If your pet is healthy today, that's the cheapest they will ever be to insure.
Does it cover routine vet visits?
Not under a standard accident-and-illness plan. Vaccines, wellness exams, and dental cleanings are either excluded or sold as a separate add-on. We'll tell you plainly which one you're looking at.
Is there an age limit?
Most carriers will enroll a pet from around 8 weeks old with no upper age cap for accident and illness, though premiums rise sharply with age and some carriers restrict new enrollment for senior pets.
What does it actually cost?
It depends on species, breed, age, your ZIP code, and the deductible and reimbursement percentage you pick. Anyone quoting you a single number before asking those questions is guessing.
Can I use my own vet?
Yes. Pet insurance has no networks — you can see any licensed veterinarian, including emergency and specialty hospitals.
Do you cover my state?
Only Utah, for now. Our producer license is a Utah resident license, so Utah is where we can legally place coverage — that isn't a preference, it's the law. We're expanding state by state once we've looked after our first customers properly. Leave your email and you'll be the first to know when we reach you.
Why isn't there a quote button?
Because we won't pretend. We're a licensed Utah producer finalizing pet carrier appointments right now. Leave your details and a licensed producer follows up personally the moment we can put real numbers in front of you — no autodialers, and we never sell your information.
Still have a question?
Leave your email and a licensed producer answers it personally.
